Story

I wrote this song for fun for Cross-eyed Rosie years ago, but Rosie declined it. Seems it was a bit too topical for the mood we liked to spin back then. To my surprise, the song followed me around as though unbidden, and developed over time into what it is today. This version, from PLAY IN THE YARD, just Jim McKeon and I, is absolutely deliscious...

Story

Initially, I was just missing my neighbor (she was a cutie) on a windy night when the song started coming together, but it turned into much more than that. I LOVE what's happened on this version in Jim, Tyler and Andy's hands...

Lyrics

I sent a note, I called your phone you've been gone all day, but where I am is far from home It isn't like I'm all alone but the wind gets in through the cracks, ya know I want to hear the doorbell ring feel your fingers on my shoulders and your voice about to sing I am alive, and all I want is to know When Will You Come Home
